OUR PROGRAMS

The Arc ECT sponsors residential camp opportunities at scenic Camp Harkness on Long Island Sound in Waterford, CT. Accessible beaches and cabins provide vacation fun and sun for campers and much needed respite for families and caregivers.

The Arc ECT trains and places people in both agency-operated micro-enterprises and competitive community employment.

The Community Companion Homes (CCH) program is overseen by The Arc ECT. CCH providers are community members who have welcomed a person with IDD into their homes to live as part of their family.

Life Skills Instructors provide supports to individuals in their own home or a family home. 

Community Life & Advocacy: Everyone has a right to full participation in community life—especially the fun parts! The Community Life & Advocacy program facilitates social awareness and independence through exciting activities. 

The Arc ECT operates several revenue-generating micro-enterprises designed by staff and participants that help transition people with IDD to competitive employment with area businesses

CIP is a day program that includes volunteer opportunities, on and off-site activities, and sensory rooms. The program provides a variety of supports that encourage and build friendships and neighborhood ties.

The Arc ECT operates 15 comfortable homes throughout southeastern Connecticut.
