#SHARETHELOVE OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. SPONSOR
This contest (the "Contest") is sponsored by The Arc Eastern Connecticut (the "Sponsor"). The Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta (the "Platform").
2. ELIGIBILITY
The Contest is open to legal residents of Connecticut who are at least 18 years of age at the time of entry, except where prohibited or restricted by law.

Employees of the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible to enter or win.
​
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who does not comply with these Official Rules or who, in the Sponsor's sole discretion, tampers with or attempts to manipulate the Contest or the entry process.
3. CONTEST PERIOD
The Contest begins on August 14, 2026, and ends on August 21, 2026, at 11:59pm EST (the "Contest Period").

Entries submitted before or after the Contest Period will not be eligible.
4. HOW TO ENTER
To enter the Contest, eligible participants must complete all of the following during the Contest Period:

Follow the Sponsor's account on the Platform;
•
Like the designated Contest post; and
•
Use the hashtag #sharethelove and tag at least three (3) friends in the comments of the designated Contest post.
Each eligible entrant may receive 1 entry during the Contest Period. Additional entries are not permitted.

All entry requirements must be completed by the end of the Contest Period. Entries that are incomplete, inaccurate, automated, duplicated, or otherwise not in compliance with these Official Rules may be disqualified.
5. PRIZE
One (1) winner will receive a gift set with an approximate retail value ("ARV") of $65 USD.

The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted or redeemed for cash, except that the Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
​
Any taxes or other costs associated with acceptance or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
6. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION
One (1) potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Contest Period.

The potential winner will be contacted via direct message from the Sponsor's official social media account within 3 days after the Contest ends. The potential winner may be required to respond within 48 hours of notification and may be required to provide information necessary to confirm eligibility and arrange prize delivery.
​
If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the required time, is determined to be ineligible, or does not comply with these Official Rules, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.
​
The Sponsor is not responsible for a potential winner's failure to receive notification due to spam filters, account restrictions, privacy settings, incorrect contact information, or other technical or communication issues.
7. ODDS OF WINNING
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS
By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Contest.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Contest if fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Contest.

The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or technically corrupted entries; technical failures of any kind; or any problems that may prevent an entrant from successfully participating in the Contest.
9. RELEASE AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, the Platform, and their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Contest or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
10. SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORM DISCLAIMER
This Contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta.

By entering the Contest, each participant acknowledges that the Platform is not responsible for the administration of the Contest, the selection of the winner, or the fulfillment of the prize.
​
All questions, comments, and concerns regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor and not to the Platform.
11. PRIVACY
Information submitted in connection with the Contest will be used by the Sponsor for purposes of administering the Contest, contacting the potential winner, fulfilling the prize, and for any other purposes disclosed to participants at the time of entry or as otherwise permitted by applicable law.
12. GOVERNING LAW
The Contest and these Official Rules are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Any disputes arising out of or relating to the Contest shall be governed by the laws of Connecticut, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where prohibited by applicable law.
