The Arc ECT’s Cookie Factory is a micro-enterprise that makes the most delicious, 100% natural chocolate chip cookies — allowing people with IDD to pursue paying jobs in the food-service industry.
Opportunities like these allow people with IDD to live independently with equal participation in our communities. With the help of skilled job coaches, participants learn all aspects of production, including baking, inventory management and customer service. Our all-natural, Classic Crunch Chocolate Chip Cookies are hand-made with pride and passion using only the simplest of ingredients — flour, butter, semi-sweet chocolate, eggs, baking soda and salt. They contain no artificial colors or preservatives.

MEET CHIPSTER
THIS IS HOW WE ROLL
Unfortunately, there are some mean people out there. All too frequently, individuals with IDD have to deal with the consequences of bullying. HOW CHIPSTER ROLLS is a story about kindness and recognizing people for their abilities. It’s a tale that features Denny — a COOKIE FACTORY cookie maker and his friend CHIPSTER — who help kids understand that it’s possible to make the world a sweeter place through understanding and acceptance.
HOW CHIPSTER ROLLS is available for purchase, and is the perfect teaching tool to encourage kids to be kind and accepting of all people — particularly those with IDD. The book is accompanied by a fun CHIPSTER plush toy (available separately).
